2013 Blue Hen Football Parking Information

Delaware Athletics is pleased to offer preferred game-day parking for Blue Hen Club members. Requests for parking must be made in writing and are due with your season ticket renewal. Due to the increase in Blue Hen Club members, requests for specific lots cannot be guaranteed and parking will be allocated based on priority point rank and “best available” basis. In order to receive full consideration for parking privileges, Blue Hen Club members must submit their contribution by April 30, 2013. Contributions are not refundable.

Please remember, the opportunity to purchase directed parking locations begins at the Coach’s Circle Blue level of $100 and named bumper parking begins at the Coach’s Circle Silver level of $1,000. Due to increased demand, parking permits are limited to football season ticket-holders and each ticket account may purchase one pass for every 4 season tickets held: 1–4 tickets held may purchase one individual permit, 5 – 8 tickets held may purchase two individual permits, 9-12 tickets held may purchase three individual permits. If more than one parking pass is desired, multiple Blue Hen Club memberships must be purchased.

Requirements For Purchase

• You must be a season ticket holder (season tickets must be in own name).
• Blue Hen Club members may request one parking space per membership.

Group Parking

Blue Hen Club members can submit group parking requests, offering members the opportunity to request passes in the same lot. However, please note that all non-VIP lots are filled using directed parking so in order to park together, you must arrive together. Assignment of group parking in all cases will be based upon the lowest ranking member’s priority point total. For example, if Blue Hen Club Member A is ranked 10th and Blue Hen Club Member B is ranked 25th, assignments will be allocated based on Blue Hen Club Member B’s ranking of 25.

Group Parking Instructions

• Please write each Blue Hen Club member’s name on each other’s corresponding football ticket application.
• Please submit all group parking football ticket applications to the ticket office together.

The corresponding athletic donation as noted above for priority point purposes must be made by this same date. Donations may be made online at www.udaf.udel.edu , via the phone by calling (302) 831-6276 or by mail to : University of Delaware Athletic Fund, P.O. Box 6003, Newark, DE 19714-9984. Any portion of your gift that is designated to Athletics and gives you the right to purchase priority seating and/or parking at an athletic event is subject to IRS rules (IRC 170(I) and IRS Publicaton (526) which limits the tax deductible portion of that gift to 80 percent of the amount contributed.
