
Seat selection will take place at the Bob Carpenter Center August 9-14, 2009. Each season ticket holder will be assigned a specific appointment time to choose their own seats, up to a quantity of 6, based on their basketball priority point ranking as of May 29, 2009. The donor with the most points and subsequently the highest ranking will select first. Letters with each season ticket holder’s specific appointment time have been mailed to the address on record held by the Athletic Ticket Office.
On the day of seat selection, and prior to the assigned appointment time, season ticket holders will have an opportunity to meet with a Blue Hen Club representative, review an up-to-date seating chart in the Bob Carpenter Club area, and ask questions about the selection process or available seats.
A UD staff member will then escort the ticket holder to the seating bowl of the arena to begin the seat selection process at their designated time. After selecting seats within the allocated timeframe, the ticket holder will confirm the selection with an athletics ticket office staff member during the checkout process.
If a season ticket holder is not able to personally come to campus to select his or her seat location during the appointment time, the season ticket holder may appoint a proxy on his/her behalf. Season ticket holders may also mail back their seat selection forms, which will be sent out with appointment assignments in June. If a season ticket holder misses their appointment and has not made prior arrangements, a UD staff member will select the best available seats at the ticket holder’s assigned time.
Season ticket holders are not guaranteed the rights to the same seats they had during the 2008-09 season. Because season ticket holders are selecting their own seats, it is impossible for staff to predict the seating preferences of each Blue Hen season ticket holder.
As a reminder, priority ticket purchases will be limited to 6 seats per account, and appointment times will be assigned based on your Blue Hen Club Priority Points ranking as of May 29, 2009. In addition, season ticket holders who wish to sit together must request in advance to have their seat selection appointment times set at the same time. They may then choose their seats together. Appointment times will be assigned in order of the person in the group with the least points and subsequently the LOWEST ranking. Each member in the group must submit the request in writing no later than June 24, 2009. To have the opportunity to renew your basketball seat selection annually, you must maintain the giving level at which your season tickets were assigned. If your membership is downgraded or not renewed, your current season tickets may be moved.

NEW Exclusive South Courtside (Floor) Seating – The opportunity to purchase courtside seats is available to UDAF members at the Coaches Circle Silver Level ($1,000). A minimum $1,000 donation to UDAF is required per 2 seats. Each season ticket is $400.00. There is a maximum of 2 seats per donation, and a signed waiver is required.
The opportunity to purchase VIP parking is available to UDAF members at the Coaches Circle Silver Level ($1,000). Parking is $200 for a season pass. VIP parking assignments are based upon Blue Hen Club Priority Points rankings as of May 29, 2009. VIP parking is located in front of the Bob Carpenter Center.

The University of Delaware Athletic Fund (UDAF) is the fundraising arm of UD Athletics. UDAF is responsible for raising critical financial support for athletic scholarships, operating budgets, and special projects. As the cost of higher education continues to rise, so does the challenge of competing. The Blue Hen Club Priority Point System is a calculation of several components to assist in the assignment and allocation of parking and seating at UD athletic events. Components of the Priority Points system includes: annual contributions to athletics, past giving to athletics, past giving to non-athletic entities within the University (pre June 30, 2008), season ticket holder status and multiple-sport season ticket holder status.
