Dear University of Delaware Athletics Fan:

As season ticket holders, fans and supporters of the University of Delaware Athletic Fund (UDAF), we ask you to join us as charter members of the UDAF’s newly formed Blue Hen Club. The Blue Hen Club has been established to provide recognition for the many supporters like you and me who are passionate about UD Athletics.

UD leads the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) with its ability to offer 235 scholarships to our student-athletes. Our goal is to maintain high academic and athletic standards and to provide ongoing opportunities for student-athletes in the classroom and on the playing fields. To accomplish these goals, we truly need your participation and support.

To show you, a loyal fan and supporter, that we value your unwavering support, UD Athletics has implemented the Blue Hen Club Priority Point System. This system is based on a combination of factors including your current year contributions to UD Athletics, past giving to Athletics and non-athletic contributions to the University (gifts made prior to June 30, 2008), and your number of years as a season ticket holder. The Priority Point System will go into effect for the 2009 Football season (parking) and the 2009-2010 Men’s and Women’s Basketball seasons (reseating/parking). Membership in the Blue Hen Club Coach’s Circle Silver of $1,000 enrolls you in the Delaware Diamonds Society.
